What is WFRF Accreditation?
Accreditation is the official process by which the World Fitness Running Federation (WFRF) authorizes clubs, training centers, events, and personal coaches to operate under its global standards. An accredited status means you are recognized as an official WFRF partner worldwide.

Types of Accreditation

1. Club Accreditation
Sports clubs that want to be recognized as “Official WFRF Training Centers.”
Annual Fee: $199 USD
Who is this for?
Running clubs, fitness clubs, local and regional sports clubs that train fitness running athletes.
Requirements:
· Official sports license from your country of operation
· Minimum 1 WFRF-certified coach on staff (Level 2 or higher)
· Compliance with course safety standards (measured route, warning signs)
· Liability insurance for all members
· Minimum 10 active members
· Payment of annual accreditation fee
Benefits:
· “WFRF Accredited” logo on website, athlete uniforms, and facility
· Priority registration for official WFRF events
· Monthly performance reports of your athletes in World Rankings
· 20% discount on team entry for World Championships
· Listing in official WFRF Club Directory
· Free technical consulting from WFRF Technical Committee
Required Documents:
· Completed accreditation application form
· Copy of official club license

Application Process:
Email documents to accreditation@fitnessrunning.org. Initial review takes 10 business days. A WFRF officer will schedule an inspection (in-person or virtual). Upon approval, invoice is issued and certificate is sent.

2. Training Center Accreditation
For academies and centers that offer coaching courses and fitness training programs.
Annual Fee: $299 USD
Who is this for?
Sports academies, training centers, institutions offering coaching certification and fitness training.
Requirements:
· Minimum 3 WFRF-certified coaches (Level 2 or higher) on staff
· Standard equipment (fitness gym, measured running route, classroom)
· Curriculum approved by WFRF Technical Committee
· Facility capacity of at least 20 people
· Proper ventilation and safety standards
· Liability insurance
Benefits:
· License to host online and in-person WFRF-certified courses
· Authority to issue WFRF certificates to graduates (with QR verification)
· Listing in official WFRF Training Center Directory
· Exclusive WFRF educational materials
· 30% discount on coach recertification fees for your staff
· Ability to host WFRF online exams at your facility
Required Documents:
· Completed accreditation application form
· List of WFRF-certified coaches
· Proposed curriculum
· Photos or video of facility and equipment

Application Process:
Email documents to training@fitnessrunning.org. WFRF Technical Committee reviews your curriculum within 14 days. Upon approval, invoice is issued and certificate is sent.

3. Event Accreditation
For local and regional competitions that want to award WFRF World Ranking points.
Fee per event: $149 USD
Who is this for?
Event organizers hosting fitness running competitions at local, regional, or national levels.
Requirements:
· Course measured to international standards (accuracy ±1%)
· Minimum 1 WFRF-certified official present at event
· Complete medical kit and ambulance on site with qualified staff
· Water stations every 3km minimum
· Results submitted within 24 hours of event completion
· Photo finish timing system for professional categories
· Liability insurance for the event
Benefits:
· Winning athletes receive WFRF World Ranking points
· Use of WFRF name and logo in event marketing
· Event listing on official WFRF Calendar on the website
· Technical support and consulting from WFRF Technical Committee before event
· WFRF-branded medals and awards available (additional cost)
· Event accreditation certificate for organizer
Required Documents (minimum 60 days before event):
· Completed event accreditation application form
· Course map with full details (start, finish, aid stations)
· Event schedule
· List of officials and staff
· Medical and safety plan
Application Process:
Email documents to events@fitnessrunning.org at least 60 days before event date. Technical Committee reviews within 20 days. Upon approval, invoice is issued. After payment, event is added to official calendar.

4. Personal Coach Accreditation
For independent coaches working one-on-one with athletes.
Annual Fee: $99 USD
Who is this for?
Freelance running coaches, personal trainers, fitness coaches working independently.
Requirements:
· Valid WFRF Coaching Certificate (Level 2 or higher)
· Personal professional liability insurance
· Minimum 2 years coaching experience
· Valid CPR/AED certification
Benefits:
· Listing in WFRF Accredited Coach Directory on website
· License to train athletes under WFRF brand
· 20% discount on recertification courses
· Personal accreditation certificate with QR code
Required Documents:
· Completed accreditation application form
· Copy of WFRF Coaching Certificate
· Copy of liability insurance
· Proof of experience (letters from clients or previous employers)
· Copy of CPR/AED certification

How to Apply – Step by Step
Step 1: Choose your accreditation type from the options above.
Step 2: Download the application form from the website.
Step 3: Complete the form and prepare all required documents.
Step 4: Email your documents to the appropriate address:
· Clubs: clubs@fitnessrunning.org
· Training Centers: training@fitnessrunning.org
· Events: events@fitnessrunning.org
· Personal Coaches: coaches@fitnessrunning.org
Step 5: WFRF officer reviews your documents within 10-20 business days.
Step 6: If needed, an in-person or virtual inspection will be scheduled.
Step 7: Upon approval, an invoice will be issued to you.
Step 8: After payment, your accreditation certificate will be sent (PDF + printable file).
Step 9: Your name will be added to the official WFRF Accredited Directory on the website.

Renewal Policy
Accreditation is valid for 1 year from date of issuance.
Renewal: A simplified inspection (mostly remote) is required for renewal.
Renewal fee: 50% of initial fee (no full inspection required).
How to renew: 30 days before expiration, you will receive a renewal reminder email. Click the link and complete the renewal form.
Late renewal penalty: $50 USD if renewed within 30 days after expiration. After 60 days, you must reapply as a new applicant.

Cancellation and Revocation
Accreditation may be revoked for the following violations:
· Failure to maintain safety standards
· False reporting of event results
· Doping violations within your club or center
· Unauthorized use of WFRF logo
· Violation of WFRF Code of Conduct
· Non-payment of annual fees
Revocation process:
· Written warning for first minor violation
· 30-day suspension for moderate violation
· Permanent revocation for severe violation
Upon revocation:
· No refund of fees
· Name removed from Accredited Directory
· Must return all WFRF certificates and logos
Right to appeal: 14 days to appeal to WFRF Ethics Committee at ethics@fitnessrunning.org
